SEAD has maintained it’s legacy as a distinguished Forum for social interaction amongst it’s members & 
their families. Our beloved association completed 50 years (1959) of it’s existence at Durgapur. 
To commemorate this momentous occasion, celebrations of the Golden Jubilee of SEAD were made in a 
befitting manner.

The following activities were participated in, by the members & their families.

    1)	Family get together, adda, introduction, drama followed by dinner on 22ndNov, Saturday starting from
        7.30 P.M.
    2)	Seminar on “Technical Education in India – Chalenges ahead” on 2rd Nov, 2008, Sunday starting from 
        9:30 A.M. Eminent speakers including senior ex-members of SEAD  deliberated. Also, delegates from 
        Educational Institutes & Industry participated.

        Venue for both the days was Hotel Citi Residenci at City Centre, Durgapur.

    3)	Publication of Souvenir included along with articles & other things, directory of
        SEAD members.
